“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.”
Well, if it’s complicated, you make it look as though you know your camera. I’ve had mine for two years and I’m still finding different settings and shit. I’ve got aversions to instructions. i call ‘em “destructions”.
That is an awesome quote btw; I agree with Bani.
Yeah, it just seemed to fit with the snow and fence and all. I’m not going to lie, I’m marginally familiar with Ono’s work, but not terribly so. They just seemed like the right words.
Same here, but it seems everything she says/does is right on.
And Victoria, I really don’t know all the gadgetry and gee-gaws that go along with my camera…really at all…however, I do at least have some experience from using a “vintage” manual SLR film camera back in the day. So I kind of have a half assed idea. But, I mean, it just kind of sucks really because I haven’t gotten used to everything. It used to be so easy…I mean, it was intuitave and simple as fuck to adjust things on my film camera, like aperture settings and shutter speed and everything. But with this goddam thing I have now it’s like trying to do 3d CAD rendering after drinking a quart of Valerian root tea. I just feel stupid as fuck, you know?
Really nice shot!
Thank you! It probably would have been better but I’m still figuring out my camera. It’s all complimicated and stuff.
