Quick Update Type Shit.
So I’ve been getting into the book Work by the Crimethinc. collective, and it’s pretty excellent. I should finish it soon and I’ll write more about my thoughts on it.
I’m resuscitating my ‘zine, Usual Suspect . Haven’t put out a new issue since probably ’04 while I was still in the joint. This next one will be fat, and will include my first ebook Subterranean Emerald City Blues, as well as some other old and new material. Mainly I’m doing it because I discovered a local ‘zine not long ago, which led to my review of it here, which led to my finding out about this years Scranton ‘Zine Festival-which in turn led to me getting that day, June 8th, off of work..and then registering to table there. So, yeah, if you’re going to be in town that Saturday swing by and check out the ‘zines.
Went to Wilkes Barre today to do some thrifting for work clothes, and of course brought the camera. Took tons of photos. This one is my favorite from today, I got it on the way back home at the train bridge down the southern end of my borough. GIMPed it up with some color adjustments, and brightness/contrasting plus hit it with a blue sky gradient script.
